14th March 2009 Windsurfing: levington Wind Direction: west Wind Stength: 2 - 15kts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: Weather: good Max Speed: 2kts (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 100 metres (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) had a another dreadful day of arriving riging get on the water and too fcuk..g late. Tide was about 1.00 but due to "supermarket food shopping with you know who, didn't get there till 1.00. Went on the water at 2.00 and Richard was burning his isonic 122 with a 7.8M + 2 kiters out. I was catapulted over the top of the 8.5GTX as I tried to waterstart off. By the time I corrected myself I had lost 100 metres to the out running tide and no fcukin wind, after blowing force 4 for 2 hrs solid. Thanks Richard for showing me the 23kts on the 201, kick a man when is his down. To add insult to injury as there was no wind we had to resort to helping Tom launch his kite! My only consolation was the sauna was hot:) |
